Week Commencing 18 September

This is the last regular Blog.  During the week of the Show we will only use it for urgent messages.

Rosemary has circulated wardrobe info to you.  If you are missing anything you must tell her NOW !  It will be too late when we reach the theatre.

You should have received a lot of info about the Show and the theatre over the last few weeks.  If you are unsure about anything please email Scott Park as soon as possible.  He will not be easily available from next Sunday morning.  Don't forget that your costumes should be brought to the theatre on Sunday between 4pm and 5pm.  If you really can't manage on Sunday then bring it on Monday.   There is no rehearsal on Sunday!

Activity Day Sat 16 Sept at Invertrossachs Activity Centre

Arrive at 10am and pick up between 4pm and 4.30pm

Everyone should bring a towel and a change of clothing as you will probably get wet on the water.  We're not sure what the weather will be like but would advise waterproofs or other suitable clothing and footwear.   Lunch will be provided but if you want a snack you'll have to provide it as there is no Tuck Shop.

Getting there: The site is reached from Callander town centre by taking the A81 Glasgow road then, at a mini-roundabout, bearing right on a minor road signposted Invertrossachs. The road beyond the junction at Gartchonzie Bridge is a single track ‘No Through Road’, and is public as far as the estate lodge gates. There is a barrier here which is padlocked. The code to open this is 1900. Please ensure it is locked again behind you after passing through. If it is open, please drive through but stop and lock it after you.

Proceed along the private road carefully for approximately 2 km. This section of road is normally very busy with walkers and cyclists, so please observe the 20 m.p.h. speed limit.

The exact location is pinpointed here on google maps. The PostCode FK17 8HG for SatNav identifies the cottages of the tiny village of Invertrossachs which is another 2km along the loch-side road.

Week commencing 21 August

Firstly, can I record my appreciation to everyone who was at yesterday's rehearsal.  They all worked their socks off and made a big difference to the numbers we were rehearsing.

With 5 weeks to go before we are in the theatre everyone needs to learn their words and watch the videos.  Please look at where you are in each number and where you move to.  Music for The Opening should be sent out later this week.

By Sunday we need to have your Activity Day permission form so that we have final numbers and so ensure we have sufficient instructors for each activity.

Also by Sunday we need to know if you can help with the Bucket Collection at Morrison's on Saturday 2 September.  You could email Scott Park or let us know on Sunday.  We need a good turnout at each of the time slots.  Uniform and your red necker to be worn.

Saturday 26 Sept

Sunday 27 September

Main Gang   2pm - 6pm    The Opening (setting)
