Activity Day Sat 16 Sept at Invertrossachs Activity Centre

Arrive at 10am and pick up between 4pm and 4.30pm

Everyone should bring a towel and a change of clothing as you will probably get wet on the water.  We're not sure what the weather will be like but would advise waterproofs or other suitable clothing and footwear.   Lunch will be provided but if you want a snack you'll have to provide it as there is no Tuck Shop.

Getting there: The site is reached from Callander town centre by taking the A81 Glasgow road then, at a mini-roundabout, bearing right on a minor road signposted Invertrossachs. The road beyond the junction at Gartchonzie Bridge is a single track ‘No Through Road’, and is public as far as the estate lodge gates. There is a barrier here which is padlocked. The code to open this is 1900. Please ensure it is locked again behind you after passing through. If it is open, please drive through but stop and lock it after you.

Proceed along the private road carefully for approximately 2 km. This section of road is normally very busy with walkers and cyclists, so please observe the 20 m.p.h. speed limit.

The exact location is pinpointed here on google maps. The PostCode FK17 8HG for SatNav identifies the cottages of the tiny village of Invertrossachs which is another 2km along the loch-side road.
