Sunday 22 October

Great rehearsal yesterday with everyone working hard to produce a great result.  The Opening looks very good.  Don't forget to keep practising the songs.

If anyone has a condition that increases the difficulty in learning the words please speak to Scott.   We can print the script on different coloured paper if this helps or provide a flash drive with the spoken words for each song if a parent can't manage to do it.

Advance News

The Commissioning Group has worked hard to choose a programme for our next production. Their deliberations are over and we now have the songs that we will sing.

As a taster we can tell you that we will be all at sea with pirates whilst the Juniors will be chasing mermaids.   We will go around the world and then into outer space and back home via Leith.

We shall perform one of our old favourites "Garden Gnomes" written by the late Gordon Blackburn.  This is a tribute to Gordon who was Stirling Gang's first producer and who sadly passed away last year

GS Organisation

In preparation for 2018 and beyond we are in process of re-organising the administration, business and support side of our Show.  We are setting up groups to support the financing of the Show, to recruit new Gang members from Guiding and Scouting, look after IT and programme design and publicity and ticket sales.

The main idea is to have the various essential bits of administration done by many people so that each individual will only undertake a small amount.

If any parent or other adult would like to join one of the groups please get in touch now with Scott Park.  We will be having a meeting in late March to which you will be invited and where we will explain what we hope to achieve with your help.
