3 March & Beyond
Tonight's rehearsal will go ahead as usual starting at 7pm prompt. The snow is expected to ease in the afternoon when we may get rain so the roads should be OK. We may finish a little early at around 8.40pm but Scarecrows won't finish until 9pm
Saturday's rehearsal is from 1.45pm until 6pm at Beechwood Scout Hall (off Newhouse). No costumes are needed unless individuals have been specifically told to bring a certain costume. Brownies and Cubs will be finished at 3.30pm.
Monday night is our first in the Theatre. Please arrive at the Stage Door (off the theatre foyer) between 5.30pm and 5.45pm. You must go straight to your Dressing Room and get your costumes organised then change into costume for The Opening. Please take heed of instructions from the people organising your dressing room. From Tuesday to Saturday you should arrive between 6.30pm and 6.45pm.
All cast and back stage staff must register or sign in at the door. This is a safety requirement.
The dressing areas will be cramped with such a large cast but if you keep your costumes tidy and organised then you will find it very much easier to get changed and back onto the stage in time for your next number. Don't forget the instructions on how to organise your costumes on hangers.

Week commencing 23 February
Tonight’s final setting rehearsal at the Guide Hut for Speakeasy will last
approximately 1 hour so will finish at 8pm. Please note this time if you are
being collected.
Thursday’s rehearsal is at the Guide Hut and will last from 7pm - 9pm. We
expect to finish Sampan a little earlier than 8pm and will move straight on to
the Finale. There will also be a little work with costumes as announced by
Rosemary. Shakespeare is also being rehearsed from 7pm - 8pm.
If you are one of the Karate “dancers” please bring your costume on
Thursday if you have it. Don’t worry if you haven’t got one as we can provide
it.
On Saturday 28th volunteers are asked to bring along some of their more
colourful costumes to the Queen Street Scout Hall at 3pm (finished by 4pm). We
need to get some publicity pictures in costume and in mixed groups. We weren’t
able to do this at the earlier costume call.
Can we also clarify that when the schedule says run 1st half or run 2nd half
this means that everyone is needed for the full time period. We attempt to run
through every item in order with as few breaks as possible to simulate being in
the theatre.
Finally, green information sheets should have been picked up by all cast members on Sunday. They contain details about our time in the theatre. We have tried to answer as many possible queries as we can but it is impossible to cover everything.
